Listed 16th Century Farmhouse

Complete renovation, major structural repairs and rebuild. The house was suffering from extensive rot and decay and underwent a complete internal redesign to modern standards while still maintaining traditional charm and character. Sympathetic building materials were used throughout - woodfibre insulation, lime plaster and limewash, thatched roof. We replaced a 1960's flat-roof, dormer window with majestic thatched dormer overlooking the landscaped patio and garden. The house enjoyed a new, timber-framed porch. a hand-built oak kitchen, oak staircase, ledge and brace doors - all made carefully, in-house by Waveney Build Ltd.
